The path taken by beer in the body

When we drink beer, after 15 minutes it breaks down into different substances, such as acetic acid or fatty acids, not to mention the most pleasant first effect, of laughter and happiness.

After 45 minutes, higher levels of alcohol are produced in the blood, and symptoms such as trips to the bathroom and dehydration (as the kidneys transport alcohol to the bladder) occur. In addition, dizziness, recent memory loss and sleepiness, especially if you don't drink water together, can also arise.

So, 12-24 hours after drinking beer, the symptoms disappear, and the body tries to regulate the excess alcohol in the blood. However, other more serious problems usually start there, when its consumption becomes a habit.

Studies on its effects

Research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) found a link between bowel cancer and beer consumption, which increases the risk of developing this type of cancer. Thus, the team found strong arguments to explain this relationship.

Specifically, scientists analyzed and revealed the shocking fact that a person is more prone to to develop bowel cancer when consuming 4 measures or more of alcoholic substances in a week.
