Maurício de Sousa's son receives sand instead of a video card

Right after having bought a video card for R$ 14.5 thousand at amazon, Maurício Takeda e Sousa, son of Maurício de Sousa, had a big and not pleasant surprise. Instead of receiving the expected product, he was given a package of jars full of sand.

“I am a very calm person, but I was shocked”, said Maurício when giving an interview and explained that he also filmed the unboxing of purchased merchandise, which was sold and transported by Amazon itself, later publishing the footage on TikTok.

In the video, he declares that the package, despite being sealed, was very damaged, as well as, when picking up the box, he felt that the weight distribution was different and, for this reason, he asked the woman to register the moment of opening the merchandise. Upon finding the problem, he claims that he contacted Amazon on the same day, but that they still had not solved his problem.

“I always record the opening of the goods when I buy high-value products, for security reasons. I was afraid of taking a default or something like that, but I never imagined it would happen to me”, was Maurício's report in his video. His wife was as shocked as he was, who also couldn't stop crying, that's when Maurício decided to register the complaint on specialized sites, open the Police Report and also file a small claims lawsuit against the company. Amazon passed on the information that it would be in contact with the customer in order to solve the case, and that it would also had a return and refund policy that protects customers who wish to return products purchased at amazon.
