Heineken launched its Energia Verde program last year, which provides renewable energy for bars and restaurants. Now, the company has decided to expand the initiative to include the consumer's home.
Who registers on the platform “Green Your City” will have access to a more ecological energy distribution system, such as solar. With this, the consumer can save up to 20% on the electricity bill.

Green Energy Project can grant discounts on the electricity bill for consumers
The Energia Verde project is being carried out in collaboration with certified regional renewable energy generators. According to Gabriel D'Angelo, marketing director at Heineken, this energy-based distribution model is already in use in the United States and Europe.
Overall, the aim of the project is to make cities greener, work to increase circular economy incentives and provide tools for responsible consumption.
Residents of the states of Goiás, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, the Federal District and regions served by CPFL Paulista in São Paulo have already been able to join the program. In relation to the other units of the federation, the forecast is that the service will be available until the first half of 2023.
How to participate in the program?
If your state is among those covered by the program, those interested in participating in the project must fill out a digital form. For this, you must access the Heineken Energia Verde platform with the title document and a copy or photo of the energy bill.
Participation in the program does not require payment of any fees, installation or loyalty and is completely free. However, to receive the benefit, the user must prove that he has a monthly balance on the energy bill of at least R$ 200. After submitting the application, the conversion to green energy can take up to 120 days.
