Solve equations, record formulas, and to design graphics. These three things were very common at school. Although there are some fans of the matter, the fact is that not everyone liked this routine. If that period was terrible and you have bad memories, take it easy, because our objective today is not to find the value of X.

We want you to tell us how much a caterpillar plus a flower and multiplied by a clock is worth! Got confused? Don't worry, because we will explain how our mathematical challenge works.
find the final value
Observe the illustration below and notice the logic present between the figures. Don't forget to analyze calmly!
Have you managed to solve our challenge yet? Congratulations! In case it took you a little longer to understand and find the answer, we are still happy with your victory. Now if you're still not sure about the number found, that's okay too! Write down the value of your guess and observe below the step by step to resolve the issue.

Note that in the first row there are three identical caterpillars (five segment parts and a flower on the head). As they are identical, this means that their value is also equal. Since 21 is divisible by 3, we have 7 as an answer. Why? Very simple! Now, 21 ÷ 3 = 7. Did you understand?
We already know that the caterpillar with five parts and a flower making it more beautiful is related to the 7, so it remains for us to discover the value of the clock marking 6 o'clock. For this, we need to subtract 7 from the total value that the figure tells us: 19 – 7 = 12. Now we know that the two clocks are worth 12! However, we want to know its value separately, right? And since they are equal, we can divide by 2: 12 ÷ 2 = 6. With that, we can say that:
With the previous results, we can conclude that the caterpillar is a 7 and the clock showing 6 o'clock is a 6, but how much is the flower alone worth? Let's replace the figure and evaluate the result.
Adding 6 and 7, we get 13. How much longer to reach 15? Oh, that's right! The flower represents the 2.
And so we come to the last part. Attention is needed here, huh? We find the value of 7 for a caterpillar with five parts and a flower worth 2. That way, the five-part caterpillar without the flower will be worth 5. So now we can say that each part of the caterpillar is +1. When it has six parts, it will be worth 6!
Now let's look at the flower? Notice that one is on top of the other in the image. If only one is worth 2, then two are worth 4, right? In the previous lines, we noticed that the clock marking 6 o'clock represents a 6, so a 5 hour clock replaces the number 5! Now look at the equation:
At this moment, we know that many people get confused and miss the result. To solve the challenge, it is necessary to remember that, at least in an equation, first the multiplication is solved and then we enter the sum. Therefore, we have the following:
6 + (4 x 5) = ?
6 + 20 = 26
