Honda's new electric microcar
Honda, based in Japan, announced a launch novelty. We are talking about a very low-cost microcar that has been widely used in the country since the Second World War.
At the time, the vehicles were launched with the intention of rebuilding the automobile industry, however they are still high today. The big boom is the launch of the electric model with an excellent price.
Named the Honda N-Van EV, it is 3.3 m long, 1.4 m wide and 1.9 m high. According to the brand, it is a brother of the N-Van model that was launched in 2018.
In China, for example, the use of electric cars is already quite common. Therefore, Honda has been launching this new model to encourage consumers to purchase this new technology in Japan.
The Honda N-Van EV will be priced at approximately R$38,000. In Brazil, coincidentally, this new model will be around BRL 38,000 cheaper than the current cheapest 0 km car, which is the Mobi Like, from Fiat.
The car will be indicated for people who use more urban areas. It will have a range per charge of 200 km and regenerative braking on board. The car will hit the Japanese market in the second quarter of 2024, but there is still no forecast for launch in other countries.
