“The government proposal accepted by the entities is a 9% linear salary increase for all civil servants starting in May, to be paid on June 1st, and an increase of 43.6%, representing R$ 200 more in food allowance: from R$ 458.00 to R$ 658,00. The financial effects start to take effect as of the April payroll, with payments starting on May 1,” the ministry said in a note.
