Kers Wee: the 100% national model that must have the lowest value in the Brazilian market

The Wee is a compact model, with three wheels and 100% Brazilian. Kers wants to make it the most affordable car among the best-selling electric vehicles in the country, priced at R$93,000. This position is currently occupied by the JAC E-JS1, which costs R$ 165,000.

This car will be Kers startup's first vehicle and, according to Carlos Motta, the company's CEO, the Wee is a project that was born 15 years ago, from the search for a sustainable car alternative for the planet. Features of Wee

It is an ultracompact with capacity for up to two passengers. The intention is for it to be an exclusive car for applications or rental. Furthermore, the company also hopes that it will be useful as one of the solutions to the traffic chaos in large urban centers.

According to Kers, the manufacturing cost of Wee is 60% lower than that of its main rival. In addition, it reduces refueling costs by up to 80%. As for its autonomy, it should be between 100 km and 400 km.

The project to create the vehicle involved a joint effort with the collaboration of the Science Superintendence, Technology and Higher Education of Paraná (Seti), the State University of West Paraná (Unioeste) and the Instituto Inbramol.

Furthermore, Unioeste and the Instituto Brasil de Mobilidade also joined forces in support of the project and opted to remodel the Wee with new, completely national technologies. One of the manufacturer's goals is to offer the option of semi-autonomous driving.

Wee should debut in the Brazilian market soon

Finally, the production line is ready and the brand's factory has the capacity to produce around 10,000 units per year. Therefore, the vehicle should start to be part of the Brazilian market in the near future.
