How to make?

To start, mix the cornstarch in a solution of 250 ml of water, or the proportion for the amount of oil you intend to clean. After dissolving all the contents in water, take the pan with the dirty oil back to the stove and heat it over medium heat. Then, when the oil is already hot, pour the mixture into the pan.

At this point, notice that the cornstarch mass will begin to capture the oil scum as it begins to solidify. Now, just wait until all the impurities stick to the surface of the starch to remove it from the pan. Thus, you will have a clean oil ready to be reused, without changing the taste of your next recipe.

However, it is worth remembering that some studies point out the danger of reusing oil, as it releases some toxins after being heated for the first time. That said, rethink the possibility of using used oil for other purposes, such as making homemade soap. Also, do not overdo this ingredient recovery recipe, and use it only in extremely necessary cases.
