The producer had this to say: “Fans are not ready. It has everything people love, but more.” The speech was made about the launch of the second season of the program on the streaming platform.
In other words, Van Dusen believes that audiences are not ready for the new season yet. After the speech, many spectators were anxious. Theories began to emerge that production of the series was going to be paralyzed.
However, none of this is cause for panic. Bridgerton will have its second season for sure. In addition to being among the most watched series on Netflix, it is certainly one of the most profitable.

Among the novelties will be the chemistry between Jonathan Bailey and actress Simone Ashley. The engagement between the two must be “magnetic”. The famous one will be Kate Sharma, who is Anthony's romantic target in Bridgerton.
