The Secretary of Education of the State of bahia(SEC) opened 8,120 vacancies in professional level courses.
The objective of the initiative is to attract people who have already completed high school in the state's public school system and who want to learn a new profession.

The selection will take place through an electronic draw on the 20th of July. In the event of withdrawals, the SEC may fill vacancies with candidates enrolled in the selection process.
Thus, in order of attendance, vacancies will be filled on July 27th and 28th.
What are the criteria for participating in the courses?
To apply, you must meet the following prerequisites:
- Have completed high school in the municipal, state or federal public network;
- Have studied in a philanthropic institution;
- Have completed High School in the private network as a full scholarship holder.
Those who completed high school in technical schools of the state public network cannot enroll in the courses.
Documents required for registration
If you are one of those drawn for the professional courses offered by the SEC, you must enroll on July 24th and 25th. At that time, applicants must carry the following documents:
- School Records;
- RG or Civil Registry Certificate;
- CPF;
- Proof of residence (water, electricity or telephone);
- Updated vaccination card;
- RG of the mother and/or legal guardian.
Where will the courses be held?
According to the SEC, the vacanciesare destined to State Centers and Territorial Centers of Professional Education (CETEP), both in the capital, Salvador, and in other 71 municipalities of the State.
Among the more than 8,000 vacancies, there are technicians in Administration, Agriculture, Information Technology, Occupational Safety, Gastronomy, Clinical Analysis, Buildings and Musical Instruments.
Classes start on July 31st. The call for courses will be based on an electronic lottery, depending on the number of places available for each of the courses.
