Should I share the soap with my family?
Surveys reveal that 83% of mothers in generation Z (born between 1995 and 2015) feel the need to be perfect for their children, while the percentage of millennial generation (born between 1980 and 1994) is 77%.
Gen Z moms are self-pressured (70%) and don't trust their parenting skills, and millennials feel the same way (77%). The survey conducted by Everyday Health Group, parent company of What to Expect asked women about 26 parenting ideas and the definition of the perfect mother.
Gen Z mothers were very concerned about engaging in at least 11 of the 26 activities presented, compared to older mothers. The vast majority said they wanted to teach their children to “accept everyone”.

Both agreed that it was important to ensure that their children be healthy, as well as keep yourself physically fit. It is important to point out that there is a difference in opinions when the woman is a mother for the first time or when she already has more children.
Experience count and anxious parenting
Studies have revealed that millennial moms feel much more confident about taking on the parenting role – 76% versus 70% of Gen Z.
Another issue is parental anxiety. Due to the pandemic, Gen Z has been experiencing more anxiety in general, mainly because they are dealing with many challenges, including the managing ongoing concerns about their children's development, the need for constant vigilance, and financial worries.
