The Poupatempo unit, a state agency for customer service, in São José do Rio Preto, in the state of São Paulo, gained a very different employee. Bino is a cat who won employee badge and until lunchtime. The cat is super friendly and loved by everyone.

Employees say that for about a year, the feline arrives on time and interacts very well with all the workers and customers who arrive. With that, he became the mascot of the place, leaving everyone in love with his docile and calm way.
According to the attendant Lara Beatriz Veloso, the kitten also helps in stressful situations. “Bino has been very helpful, because sometimes the taxpayer arrives nervous or upset because of some pending issue, and Bino ends up arriving and calming the person down”, she says.
A new employee who is succeeding
All this affection and sympathy led to the puss being even promoted: he is now an attendant and has an official Poupatempo employee badge.
In addition, the animal is not missing, it arrives every day at the right time. “He is only ‘almost’ the best employee because he sleeps on the job”, says, in a joking tone, the director of Poupatempo, Alexandra Redigo.
Bino enchanted the hearts of all who seek care at the state agency. “If you have children, I think they are also interested. He draws a lot of attention. I think it's a pleasant environment”, says lawyer and client Luiz Gonzaga.
As the pet was “approved during the trial period” by the company, the employees decided to make it effective and present it with a badge. “It's so much cooler when he's here. It's less stressful,” says attendant Luana Bigoto.
But the story doesn't stop there, the feline has a home, a guardian and is very well taken care of. However, he really likes to walk around and go to Poupatempo.
Bino's veterinarian and tutor, Victoria Capato, says that she moved to another city and the cat was taken care of by mother, but that he receives visits from two veterinary doctors every week to check his health and integrity physical.
