Get to know some morning habits to include in your day to day and help you lose weight
The habits adopted at dawn are essential to ensure the health of body and mind. So tweaking your morning routine might be just what you needed to reach your goals. This, of course, linked to a healthier diet. Check out some tips!
1. Drink water
To detoxify, drink water on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. This can help you lose weight as, according to one study, participants lost 36% more weight by drinking half a liter of water before eating for three months. It is recommended to drink about 400 ml before breakfast, approximately two glasses of water.
2. Include protein in breakfast
Including more protein at breakfast can help you manage your weight. People who eat a lot of fruits and vegetables in the morning tend to gain more weight than those who don't. That's because these foods don't have much protein.
Therefore, you can choose to eat some eggs, boiled or fried, instead of eating only fruit, or whole grain bread. In addition, you can also have fiber-rich whole wheat porridge and top it with light brown fresh cheese. Thus, you will be satisfied and not reach for any snacks among unhealthy foods throughout the day.
3. Physical exercise
Morning exercise tends to be more effective than evening exercise. In addition, it makes us have more time to deal with responsibilities throughout the day. If it is not possible to do some physical activity, you can start the day with a more intensive 20-minute stretch.
