As of January 2024, Correios will implement new services in its range of options. According to a recent announcement, both physical and digital branches will offer some types of insurance, in partnership with Previsul, which won the bidding of R$ 150 million in investments.
The services will be offered throughout the national territory, in more than 10 thousand agencies. In this way, customers will be able to purchase insurance for life, home, funeral and other risks.

After the crisis he faced before the pandemic, the company was withdrawn from the National Privatization Program and is now trying to restructure itself by offering different services to the public.
Post Office Tender
The winning bidder, Previsul, has more than 100 years of experience in the sector and will offer its services through Correios for up to 10 years. The contract may be renewed for the same period, or the services must go to new tenders from other insurers.
In addition, in the last year, the French group CNP Assurances invested more than R$ 1 billion in the country for the restructuring of business. The group acquired shares of Caixa Econômica in Previsul, Odonto Empresas, CNP Consórcio and CNP Capitalização.
CNP's goal is to grow more than 60% in the national market in 10 years. The branch in the country corresponds to 20% of the holding's revenue worldwide.
