Different uses of potatoes

1. Remove food stains from hands

Your carrot soup is cooking on the stove, but you have orange hands? Then know that the stains caused by foods like carrots and pumpkin come off your hands easily if you rub a potato on them. Do the test!

2. Get rid of puffiness around the eyes

No one likes to wake up in the morning and find their eyes super puffy when looking in the mirror, right? However, know that you can use a few slices of cold raw potato on your eyes to get rid of annoying puffiness.

3. Firm arrangement of flowers

If you have a flower arrangement and don't know how to stabilize it, try using a large boiled potato. First, cut it in half, the same lengthwise, and place it on the flat part. Afterwards, dig small holes where you want the plants to be and stick the stems in.

4. Make compresses

Potatoes are able to retain both heat and cold. So the next time you want a hot compress, try boiling a potato, then wrap it in a towel and apply it under the area in need. If you need a cold compress, place the cooked potato in the fridge before using.

5. Make a stamp for kids

Forget rubber stamps, which are super expensive at the stationery store, as the potato can work as the perfect instrument for children to play with. Therefore, cut the potato in half, crosswise, then carve a design on one of the halves. Finally, start stamping as you would the manufactured part.
