To make this recipe, you only need a few basic ingredients. Check out:

  • 3 cups (tea) wheat flour;
  • 2 and ½ cups (tea) of sugar;
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar for the syrup;
  • 1 cup of hot water for the syrup;
  • 4 cups (tea) of milk;
  • 4 medium eggs;
  • 100g grated dry coconut;
  • 50g of grated Parmesan cheese.

Preparation

As we mentioned, this cake has a texture and shape that resembles a pudding, so we will make a syrup to cover it. So, put 1 cup of sugar in a pan along with the cup of water and stir over low heat until it forms a caramel. Then grease the entire form for the cake with it.

Soon after, take the wheat flour, eggs, sugar, milk, grated coconut and grated parmesan to the blender. So, beat all these ingredients long enough, until they become a homogeneous mixture. Next, you should let the dough rest for approximately five minutes and then pour it into the previously greased mold with the caramel.

Now, place the mold inside a larger one and fill it halfway with water, as the cooking process will take place in a bain-marie. Therefore, take the shape with the water and the other with the dough to the preheated oven at medium temperature and leave for approximately an hour and a half. Before removing, do the toothpick test and only remove from the oven when it comes out clean. Finally, just unmold your cake when it's warm and serve it to your guests!
