In general, these companies are seeking to limit the increase in the temperature of the planet to 1.5º C, using the period pre-industrial climate, according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which acts directly in controlling changes weather. It is important to highlight that, according to the International Organization, in November 2021, the average global emissions of greenhouse gases have reached the most dramatic levels in history. However, Brazilian companies are helping in this process of reducing these gases, and, with their help, the emissions growth rates slowed to 1.3% in the decade to 2019, taking into account the 2.1% previous.
