The 3 groups of snakes
The first group of snakes is the one whose venom acts on the peripheral nervous system, causing respiratory arrest.
The second group of vipers inoculates toxic substances that cause disturbances in blood clotting, hemorrhages and local necrosis.
Finally, the third group is that of sea snakes. These release a type of poison called myotoxic, which causes destruction of muscle fibers and kidney failure.
List of the worst snakes in the world
1. Death Snake
It is a species that is found in Australia and looks a lot like vipers, since it has a triangle-shaped head and a small body. Capable of injecting around 40 to 100mg of venom into victims, it inoculates a neurotoxin that causes paralysis and can cause death within 6 hours.
2. Viper
Found almost everywhere in the world, the most venomous are the Red Viper and Russell's Viper. Vipers are fast and nocturnal. Most species have a venom that causes pain and blistering at the site of the bite, immediately followed by swelling of the affected limb, in addition to a drop in blood pressure and frequency cardiac.
3. Cobra
Najas can be found in Africa and Southeast Asia. They have a specialized venom delivery mechanism, in which their front teeth release the substance through the tips. Their range accuracy can vary from species to species. Naja venom is highly neurotoxic, causing swelling and necrosis, with a significant anticoagulant effect.
4. black mamba
The Black Mamba is found in many parts of the African continent. It is the fastest land snake in the world. It can attack 12 times in a row, and a single bite is capable of killing between 10 and 25 adults, as its venom is a fast-acting neurotoxin.
5. snake-tiger
It is found in Australia and has a very strong neurotoxic venom. After a single sting, the victim can die within approximately 30 minutes to 24 hours. The symptoms of the bite are pain in the foot and neck region, tingling, numbness and sweating.
