How does the selection process for the São Paulo Military Police work?
The announcement of the selection process to be part of the Military Police of São Paulo was made available last Friday, November 4th. According to the announcement, there will be a total of 2,700 vacancies, and registration will be open until December 20th.
The tests will be applied in 11 cities, namely: São José do Rio Preto, Piracicaba, Araçatuba, Sorocaba, São Paulo, Campinas, Santos, São José dos Campos, Ribeirão Preto, Bauru and Presidente Prudente.
The selection process will be divided into tests, which are objective and essay. On February 12, 2023, a test with 60 multiple-choice questions will be applied, and the second will be an essay. According to the announcement, general knowledge, computers, notions of public administration, mathematics and Portuguese language will be evaluated. It is worth mentioning that any type of allusion to terrorist or extremist ideologies, violence or criminality and acts against human rights will not be accepted.
After this first part, the candidate will still have to take some exams – physical, psychological and health – in addition to the evaluation of social conduct and analysis of documents.

The requirements to become a military police officer are as follows: have completed high school, age between 17 and 30 years old, have a National Driver's License (CNH), minimum height of 1.55 for women and 1.60 for men.
