How can I plant carrots for my own consumption?

The carrot plantation must be watered daily, but be careful with the amount of water so as not to soak them and thus rot the roots. After you see the first carrot seedlings, it can be watered every 3 days. So, be aware of the dangers of weeds, they can harm your planting.

Finally, the time to harvest will be when the oldest leaves are yellowed, dry or curved. The approximate time is 80 to 120 days. These rules apply in the same way for planting in vases, the difference is the depth of the holes where the seedlings will go, which has to be 5cm larger than a common carrot.

Remember to make holes in the bottom of the pots so that the water can drain and thus not leaving the soil too wet.
