In a statement, Alon Gal, co-founder and director of technology of Hudson Rock, reported the action through LinkedIn.

“This is one of the most significant data leaks in history and will unfortunately lead to many accounts being hacked, phished and doxxed,” said Gal, who he added: “I urge Twitter users to change their passwords and be suspicious of any phishing attempts, and that Twitter recognize this breach as soon as possible. possible,” he said.

In the same post, Gal reported that the exposed data could reach 235 million. This information was also taken to CNN, Reuters and The Guardian.

For now, Twitter has not responded to the data leak and remains without stating what actually happened. Later, Gal reported that hackers are taking advantage so that large social network accounts can be invaded, as well as political accounts are targeted by criminals.

According to the Bleeping Computer website, hacker attacks have been happening on Twitter since July 2022. Afterwards, the data is exposed in the largest amount possible.
