Assisted suicide: Frenchwoman with 40 personalities wants to die

This measure has been denied by doctors, but Olympe is documenting this battle and sharing everything on YouTube. So far, she has not been allowed to end her life in a euthanasia clinic.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the young woman claimed in one of her videos, accompanied by more than 250 thousand subscribers, who were looking for doctors in Belgium, where assisted suicide is allowed by law. Despite the legality of the measure, the doctor who was sought by Olympe granted an interview to the newspaper Le Parisien.

Yves de Locht told the newspaper that medical clinics in Belgium were not “dispensers of euthanasia”, so the process can take from months to years to be properly released for the patient to resort to assisted suicide. According to the young woman, her life would come to an end in 2023, but the doctor says otherwise:

“This young woman announced the end of her life at the end of the year [2023]. This date certainly does not come from me. I need a lot more information before I even think about meeting her.” And she even vented by saying that the country and Belgian health professionals no longer want to be seen as a “death ward” for the French, simply for having legalized suicide watched.
