How to check your connection through the Google tab?
The Google page has numerous features, including one that allows you to quickly check your internet speed. For this, it is not necessary to download any program, as the verification can be carried out directly on the computer or cell phone screen, just follow the steps below:
- Open the Google page in your browser;
- In the search bar, write “speed test”;
- After opening a page, click on “run speed test”;
- At the end, a new window will open and display information about your connection. If in doubt, you can click on “search again”;
- Ready! The number that appears corresponds to the recorded speed.
What to do if you do not agree with the contract?
When testing and noticing that the speed delivered by the operator does not match what was previously defined, you has the right to activate the server and ask for the reconfiguration of its speed to what was established in contract.
Operators also guarantee complete connection via cable. A good way to check the real performance of your broadband is to connect your computer or laptop with a cable.
It is worth noting that, according to Anatel, providers must deliver at least 40% of the contracted speed from 10 am to 10 pm. Thus, the monthly average should not be less than 80% of the speed.
