What is the INSS extract used for?
The INSS extract is a document that has two main functions: proving receipt of the benefit and providing information about the program. See below the main information you can find on your statement:
- The transfer schedule of the next payments;
- Beneficiary data, such as the bank where the amounts were deposited;
- Information about the 13th INSS salary.
Step by step to withdraw the statement online
This extract is available through the application and website “Meu INSS”. To connect, you need to create an account on the Federal Government portal.
Step 1: Create an account on the government website
- Search for “Gov.br” and click on “enter”;
- After that, enter your CPF in “create your gov.br account”;
- Register a password for your account and fill in the other data requested by the site.
If the site indicates that there is already a registration with your CPF, look for “I forgot my password” and follow the instructions to recover your account.
Second step: consult the INSS statement
- If you still don't have the “Meu INSS” app, search for the Play Store (on Android phones) or the App Store (for iOS) and download it;
- Then, log in using the Gov.br account;
- When accessing the application, search for “Services” and select “Extracts/certificates/declarations”;
- Finally, access “Benefit Payment Statement”
In the application, you can set different dates to check the extract and you can also choose between downloading or printing the document.
