The team of telegram released some of the news of the new messenger update. The announcement was made last Friday (07/30). Apparently, the purpose of the application is to improve the experience with videos within the platform.

New features include video calling with up to 1000 viewers. In addition, it also has the possibility of increasing the playback speed of videos by 2x.

1 – Video call with up to 1000 viewers
The group video call 2.0 tool enables up to 30 people to broadcast videos to up to 1,000 viewers. The transmission can be done by camera or cell phone.
Just start a voice chat from the app on the info page. You must be a group admin to enable video.
2 — Video Messages
Telegram has improved the quality of video messages, in addition to having a close feature. You can also pause, fast-forward or rewind, and zoom the recording.
3 — Playback speed adjustment
Another novelty is that the application allows you to increase the video playback speed by 0.5x, 1.5x or 2.0x.
4 – Marking titles
In the same way as it works on Youtube, Telegram users will be able to divide their videos into titles. So you can jump directly to the marked part of the video and watch whatever you want.
5 – Sharing with sound
It is now possible to share the screen image with sound in private calls.
