In recent times, there has been a growing involvement of consumers in knowing more about what they are consuming. After all, who has never found themselves looking for information about a product on the internet? And the world of beers is no different.
That's why renowned experts decided to evaluate the different options of pure malt beers currently available in the country's market.
The test, which was named “Taste”, with the participation of people trained in beer tasting. There were 13 brands tested and evaluated, in search of the best options available to the consumer.
It is important to note that these brands are popular and are often produced to be consumed at very low temperatures, popularly known as “cracking”.
In the evaluation program, several questions arise, one of them raises an intriguing question:
“Premium” beers should be consumed at higher temperatures. More precisely, up to 7ºC, did you know that? Yeah, that's a curiosity that not everyone knows.
In addition, experts analyzed several factors, such as stability, color of the foam, in addition, of course, to flavors, brightness and also aroma. And the result was surprising!
Some of the best-known brands consumed by Brazilians were not well evaluated, while others, less popular, stood out for their incredible quality and flavor.

How was the evaluation?
Now let's talk about evaluating the tests. Grades were assigned on a scale of 0 to 10 for each of the varieties. It is important to emphasize that the evaluated brands represented values in the range of R$3 to R$5.
The brands Bohemia, Brahma, as well as Cerpa Prime, Stella Artois, Itaipava, Amstel, Eisenbahn, Império, Heineken, Spaten, Original, Petra and Skol were analyzed.
First place went to Spaten, which received the best evaluation, with a score of 8.4. Second, we have the Amstel, which also had an incredible performance with a score of 7.8, and finally, the top 3 was due to Empire, with a score of 7.5.
