Second batch of Income Tax was released to millions of workers
In addition to non-priority citizens, those who have priority under the law include: 661,831 taxpayers whose main source of income is the teaching, 48,913 taxpayers with severe physical or mental disabilities, 675,495 aged between 60 and 79 years and 87,401 taxpayers over 80 years.
To mitigate the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic that could compromise delivery, such as the delay in receipt, the deadline for delivering the Physical Income Tax Return was postponed to 31 May. Despite the delay, the original return schedule was maintained, with five lots to be paid between May and September, always on the last business day of each month.
How to check the refund amount?
The consultation can be carried out online at IRS website. It only requires that the taxpayer click on the My Income Tax field and select Consult Refund. The query can also be made through the My Income Tax app, accessible for smartphones with Android and iOS operating systems.
Anyone not on the list can check the extra declaration page to see if there are any current pending issues. In this situation, the employee must access the e-CAC and check for any data inconsistencies. In this way, the taxpayer will be able to determine the inconsistencies and carry out the copyright regularization by presenting a rectifying statement.
