The birth of this new tool comes shortly after the acquisition of Ally.io, a company dedicated to creating solutions for Specific Objectives and Results, in October 2021. The resources developed ensure that the teams and objectives outlined by the companies are aligned with the mission and strategic priorities.

Viva Goals has a private view and can be used by companies that use hybrid work models. “Employees no longer just want to feel connected and aligned with purpose, they also want to grow and make a difference in organizations,” says the technology company in the statement.

Microsoft has conducted a study that shows that 77% of employees consider the sense of purpose and meaning at work provided by the company to be important or very important. Furthermore, 69% of them consider it important that they are rewarded for results, rather than a reduction in the number of hours worked.

Viva Goals qualifies employees to place the organizations' priorities at the center of discussions so that the issue resolution process becomes faster and teams save time to focus on the results of the business.

Since the beginning of the operation, the technology used by the company Ally.io has already been adopted by approximately a thousand technology companies from different sectors, such as factories, financial services and businesses, in more than 80 countries.

The company's technology will be used in the Viva module, and will also be supported by Microsoft 365 and Teams. The module has the ability to integrate with Azure DevOps, ZenDesk, Jira and others. Currently, Viva already has four modules that are interconnected: Connections, Insights, Topics and Learning.
