More than fifteen years after the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, little is actually known about the case. Therefore, any reversal can easily attract the attention of the international media. In this case, the most recent development concerns the young Julia Faustyna, a German who faithfully claims to be Madeleine.

To spread her story, Faustyna created a profile on social networks in which she compares details of her physical appearance with Madeleine's appearance. According to her, there are details on her body, such as a freckle on her leg and a mark on her eye, which could confirm this theory. However, confirmation would only come with the DNA test.

So, that's where the story gets more complicated, that's because Faustyna's parents deny the test authorization. For them, the birth certificate would be proof enough, but experts deny this thesis, as it is easily possible to forge the document. That said, it is difficult to confirm or rule out the hypothesis.

Supposed authorization for the test

Madeleine's parents confirmed that they would like to take the DNA test and that they do not refuse to do any procedure and verify any hypothesis. In this way, resistance would come directly from the other family. Previously, Faustyna's parents even suggested that their daughter should receive psychiatric treatment rather than a DNA test.

Recently, the case seems to finally be starting to move forward. That's because Faustyna said in her profile on social networks that her parents would have authorized the test. At first, a test was carried out with the girl's fingerprint, but it was not possible to reach definitive conclusions. These would only happen from the DNA comparison.
