News and updates on PIX transactions
Although nowadays PIX is the most used way by people when carrying out their banking transactions, there is a common problem, and many users suffer from it.
In some situations, the consumer feels the need to send a larger amount of money, but does not have the available limit for this. With this limitation in mind, the Nubank brought a new possibility of use for its users.
Digital bank customers will be able to make the PIX via credit card. In addition, the amount sent may be paid in installments, and the number of installments will depend on the amount requested.
For this, in addition to having a credit card, customers need to be aware that they will be charged an interest rate of 3.99% per month. This value is calculated according to the IOF (Tax on Financial Operations), which varies from 0.38% to 3.38%.
Another Nubank novelty is the Additional Limit. This is an agreement to release an extra limit to pay the bills. This additional amount will be used if the consumer has no account balance or credit card limit.
It is worth noting that the amount used will not be deducted from the credit card, as it is an extra amount.
There are other applications that already use this tool. PicPay, for example, also offers Pix-like transactions using a credit card, in addition to the possibility of paying bills using other institutions.
