First, we have to understand that AI is limited and, unfortunately or not, cannot think independently yet. Recently, SETI (search for extraterrestrial intelligence) has struggled to find signals of electromagnetic radiation through a sophisticated civilization in a limited system.
The problem lies in the fact that it is extremely difficult to study the extensive data that SETI telescopes collect from the cosmic world, even though the AI displayed several favorable functions. It is interesting to point out that, in most cases, due to interference from GPS and cell phones, false positives are detected.
A student at the University of Toronto developed a tool
Thanks to this AI tool developed by Peter Ma, researchers will be able to track “signatures technologies" of extraterrestrial intelligence and will obtain galactic radio signals to pursue life alien.
In the past, search algorithms only identified human-defined anomalies, but the learning system developed by Ma allows for alternative modes of thinking.

The boy added that his technique is research. So the whole process is effectively replaced by a neural network, no longer just a component and becoming the whole thing. His project has already detected eight new signs of interest, after analyzing about 150TB of data from 820 nearby stars.
He said these stars were analyzed using classical techniques; however, they were devoid of anything that, in fact, deserved a deeper investigation.
