This robot acts like a pet and protects the house!

Have you ever imagined having a robot how pet? Well, this option appeared recently, it practically does not need care and can last for a lifetime. The robot, called PetBot Loona, was unveiled by robotics company KEYi Technology at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The project is still in the design phase crowdfunding, that is, it is raising funds to start production, estimated for April of this year. According to the makers, “Loona is an intelligent, intuitive, affectionate and playful robot company, made for people and pets”.

The robot's hearing allows it to know where people are when they call out to it, locating the source of the sound. Not only that, Loona can also wake up on hearing a keyword, it has semantic understanding and responses to voice commands.

Regarding haptic perception, Loona's sensors make it able to feel touches, reacting in a manner consistent with the intensity of the signals received in the tactile sensors on top of the head.

So that she can express her emotions, she comes with a repertoire of more than 700 emotions that are displayed on her face, which is LCD, as well as movements on her ears and legs.
