4 series canceled by Netflix
We all love watching series, but it's also important to know when they were cancelled, especially when we're following some of them. Check out a list of four series that will not be continued below.
Cowboy Bebop
It was a big bet for Netflix for 2021, but it already started with some problems. The main character, John Cho, suffered a knee injury in late 2019, which delayed filming. Along with that, we had the pandemic, which delayed the premiere by two years beyond expectations. Among other factors, the production ended with a single season of 10 episodes.
My Father and Other Misadventures (The Afterparty)
In this series, Jamie Foxx plays a single father, owner of a cosmetics, who suddenly discovers that his teenage daughter is moving in with him. Several subjects are treated in this humorless comedy, not to mention that many didn't even know about it. Therefore, it was canceled after an 8-episode season.
Cursed
The Cursed series was condemned for going from one of the great projects on the platform to disappearing from it. Despite having 10 chapters, the novel is of commendable quality and focuses on a well-known story from a bold and original perspective. Unfortunately, however, it was cancelled, as it did not attract the expected amount of public.
Jupiter's Legacy
The problem with any fictional project these days is that people are always going to draw comparisons to Marvel's blockbusters. To make matters worse, many began to compare the series with the famous The Boys, the most innovative superhero franchise of the 21st century. As a result, it was canceled after 8 chapters in one season.
