Wholemeal skillet bread recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of whole wheat flour;
  • 1 spoon (tea) of yeast for bread;
  • 1 tablespoon (dessert) of olive oil;
  • 2 eggs;
  • Salt to taste.

Method of preparation

With all the ingredients in hand, separate a medium skillet to prepare your recipe. Then place the eggs in a bowl or round bowl and whisk quickly until the yolk and white are incorporated. Now, in the same bowl, place the whole wheat flour, water, olive oil and salt.

So, once again it will be necessary to mix well until all the ingredients form a slightly homogeneous mass. Finally, put the baking soda and mix again, but now with more delicacy. Also, it is recommended that you let the mixture rest for a period of five to ten minutes for the yeast to take effect.

Then, take the frying pan that you set aside to prepare the recipe and grease it with olive oil. However, be aware that the size of the skillet can directly impact the size and thickness of your bread. Therefore, it is best to use one that is up to 14 centimeters in diameter. That way, your bread will certainly be fluffier and lighter at the same time.

Then, turn on the low heat and wait until the dough gains consistency in the skillet before turning it over to the other side. So, let the bread brown on both sides and wait until the dough takes on more color and looks cooked. Finally, remove the bread from the skillet, cut it and make the fillings according to your taste, such as guava paste, cheese or scrambled eggs.
