Artificial intelligence really is in everything

Find out now how it can even be present in works of art exhibited in museums around the world.

How does virtual painting work?

Very different from other graphic pieces, such as videos or images created by AI, artist Refik Anadol took charge of developing his computer system itself so that his work could be a work in motion capable of adapting and changing according to the environment ask. Unfortunately, as it is a very heavy program to run on a museum computer, visitors can only watch a previously recorded video.

The process of creating Unsupervised was based on a compilation of pieces made available to the public in the database. A total of 138,151 jobs were included as part of the real-time information through the use of a algorithm and data available in a three-dimensional cloud.

In addition to the 3D signature, the authenticity of the work is in the physical certificate with a copy.

What will happen to the artwork?

Anadol's work will not only be exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), but will also be auctioned as a single piece by the largest bid, represented in NFT format as part of a collection of 5,000 elements that will be played constantly on a 20-minute loop seconds. Anyone interested in purchasing the product should know that they will have the right to the piece with the artist.

Who owns the copyright?

The great controversy behind the artwork Unsupervised is the violation of the copyrights of other artists, whose works serve as inspiration for artificial intelligence to generate the images that are projected on the museum. Therefore, in the future, Anadol may face major penalties for using other people's works in its computer system without authorization.
