Round 6: What to expect from Season 2
This South Korean series was responsible for breaking the records of streaming from Netflix. Due to its quality and engaging plot, it received many historical awards and took its cast to a level of global success.
In the narrative, through a line of terrifying and brutal children's games, players are fatally eliminated until only one is left standing. For the second season, executive producer Kim Ji-yeon revealed that they are "working on a new script, giving even bigger and better shape to the story."
To add to the promotion of the sequel to the series, a letter from the director was released along with the poster. In his speech, Hwang Dong-hyuk thanks everyone for their great support for the series and adds, “Round 6 took 12 years to produce, but only 12 days to become the most popular series on Netflix.”
Although it's at an early stage, Hwang also confirms that some names will return: The Front Man will be back, as well as a new character will appear. Likewise, Young-hee the killer doll is officially out, however viewers will be introduced to her boyfriend Cheol-su.
Thus, the second season promises many emotions and an even more elaborate plot.
