To remove all grease from your dishtowel once and for all, you should boil the dishtowel for 10 minutes in an easy-to-make solution. We have the example of three combinations that, in addition to removing grease, also remove mold.
- 1st option: water + washing powder + baking soda
- 2nd option: water + lemon slices
- 3rd option: water + baking soda + table salt
Grinded or yellowed
To be able to whiten that super grimy dish cloth, you must use a powerful solution: use water, bleach and soap powder.
But don't forget: only use bleach if your dishcloth is white, otherwise the color of your dishcloth will fade.
And before putting the cloth in that solution, rub it well with coconut soap. After that, just leave it in the solution for 6 hours, remove it from the solution and rub again and rinse.

You will apply detergent, the conventional dishwashing detergent or 10 volume hydrogen peroxide on the still dry fabric, in order to remove any kind of stain that is under the fabric.
Then you will scrub and then soak for about 2 hours in water with well-dissolved washing powder. After the 2 hours of soaking, just rub again and rinse the cloth well and put it to dry.
