Ingredients for Chocolate Oreo Cake

  • 28 Oreo cookies;
  • 1 cup (273 ml) of water.

Method of preparation

  1. Grease a small silicone round shape. If you don't have it, choose a container that can go to the microwave;
  2. In a blender, add Oreo cookies with water. Mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous mass. If your blender doesn't have enough power to crush the cookies, you can break them up with your hands and then add them to the glass with the water and beat;
  3. Transfer the dough to the mold and place the cake to cook in the microwave for 6 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Depending on the power of your device, the cooking time can be adjusted, and increase or decrease a little;
  4. Once ready, wait for the cake to cool down so you can unmold it. If you wish, you can make a syrup to put on top before serving the cake.
  5. If you don't have a microwave, you can steam or bake the cake. To do so, add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the dough.
  6. If using steam for cooking, cover the surface with plastic wrap to prevent the dough from getting too wet. Leave until the toothpick comes out clean. It may take about 20 minutes. In the oven, cooking time at 180°C is 35 to 40 minutes.
