These cassava chips are the ideal recipe to satisfy your craving for fatty foods without jeopardizing your diet. This recipe can be made in the oven, or you can fry it in the airfryer with a little oil, adding salt, pepper, herbs or other spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium cassavas;
  • Salt and black pepper to taste;
  • Oil.

Method of preparation

  1. First, wash the cassava well and peel it all;
  2. Then, with the help of a knife or specific vegetable cutter, cut the cassava into very thin slices (the thinner, the crispier);
  3. After this stage, grease a baking dish with olive oil and place the cassava slices separately, without placing one on top of the other;
  4. Add the seasonings you want and a little more olive oil over the slices;
  5. Preheat the oven to 180º C and then immediately place the baking sheet in the oven for approximately 35 minutes, or wait until they are golden;
  6. Finally, remove from the oven, wait to cool down a bit and it's ready to eat!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium cassavas;
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil;
  • Oregano and salt to taste.

Method of preparation

  1. Wash the cassava well and peel;
  2. Then cut the cassava into very thin slices, as this way the chips are more crunchy;
  3. Place the slices in a bowl and season with the olive oil, salt and oregano and mix well to spread all the seasoning;
  4. Then, place them inside the airfryer basket and program with a temperature of 180ºC and a 10-minute timer;
  5. When finished, stir the airfryer basket to turn the cassava slices and separate them, and program another 5 minutes;
  6. Finally, if they are already golden and crispy, they are ready to eat. Otherwise, add more time until they reach the desired point and bon appetit!
