See how to prepare the coconut bonbon with 3 ingredients

Being considered an easy and cheap recipe, you will only need three items for its preparation. Check out what they are below:

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages of grated coconut of the thickness and brand you prefer;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 1 milk chocolate bar for topping.

Method of preparation:

To make this delicious bonbon, start by mixing the coconut with the condensed milk. A good tip is not to buy brands of grated coconut that come with a lot of sugar in their composition, since the condensed milk already sweetens the recipe just right.

After that, keep stirring the mixture until the mass is homogenous and it is at a good point to shape the bonbons with your hands.

It is worth remembering that, depending on the brands of ingredients, it may be necessary to increase or decrease the amount of grated coconut. Therefore, add the ingredient little by little and mix until you feel the right point, as previously mentioned.

After this important process, take a mold and place a wire rack over it (the oven or fridge, for example) and distribute the bonbons on top of the utensil. Then take the shaped balls to the fridge for about 10 minutes. While they cool, in a bain-marie, melt the milk chocolate in a pan.

After the indicated time, remove the mold from the fridge and, with the help of a fork, skewer the bonbons and dip them in the milk chocolate until completely covered. Once this is done with all the sweets, place the coconut bonbons back on the wire rack and take them back to cool in the fridge.

After approximately 10 minutes, remove them from the refrigerator and voila! Also, if you want, decorate them with a topping of your choice. However, the right thing is to sprinkle some coconut powder on top.

Another interesting tip is not to put the sweets in the freezer. Such an action can cause them to dry out and become more rigid.
