Milk

The carton milk we drink on a daily basis can be a great ally. It has germicidal properties and is rich in amino acids that increase the resistance of the greens.

In addition, it alters the pH of the soil, provides nutrients and creates a microbial biofilm that helps in the development of the plant. So, to use it, just dilute 100mL of milk in 1L of water and, with the help of a spray bottle, spread the mixture on the soil and leaves.

Coffee grounds

This residue can help you keep pests and aphids away from your plants, as well as replenish lost nitrogen from the soil. This is a very important element for flower development.

To use it, you need to dry the dregs in the sun and spread them over the soil or you can also make holes in the substrate to add this ingredient.

Eggshell

The bark is rich in calcium and potassium, essential ingredients for soil pH regulation and flowering. By the way, it is very indicated in the care of orchids because it perfectly promotes the emergence of new shoots.

Furthermore, it is very simple to fertilize with this residue: place the peels to dry in the sun, later grind them well with the help of a blender or grinder and spread the residue formed over the ground.

leftover vegetables

You can also use peels and pieces taken from vegetables to fertilize the soil, after all, they work as a source of mineral salts and organic matter. To do this, just cut the remains into very small pieces and mix them with the substrate.
