Vestibular Unicamp: See when registration starts

despite the National High School Examination (Enem) be used as a gateway to most higher education institutions, some still prefer the traditional entrance exam. This is the case of the University of Campinas (Unicamp), which released this Monday, February 27, the calendar for its selection process.

Unicamp believes that there will be 2,540 vacancies for 69 courses. Graduations will be offered on the campuses of Campinas, Limeira and Piracicaba.

Unicamp Vestibular 2024 Calendar

Registration for the Unicamp entrance exam starts on July 31st and ends on August 31st. Everything will be done on the website of the exam organizing committee, Comvest.

After registering, the candidate will have to pay a fee, the amount of which has not yet been decided. In the previous entrance exam, the cost was R$ 192.

Some groups may be exempt from the fee. The deadline for applying for exemption from the benefit runs from May 15 to July 5. The list of recipients will be released on July 28, according to information from Comvest.

test dates

The first stage of the university entrance exam unicampwill take place on the 29th of October. The second is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of December.

Specific skills tests – common for Architecture and Music courses – will take place between December 7th and 9th.

The dates were designed not to coincide with the entrance exams of other public universities, such as the University of São Paulo (USP), nor with the Enem.

How is Unicamp's entrance exam?

Unicamp's test pattern follows the model below:

  • First phase: 72 objective questions and test lasting up to 4 hours;
  • Second level: On the first day, all students have to do essay questions of Portuguese, literature and interdisciplinary studies in English. In the second, candidates also answer essay questions, but in the disciplines of interdisciplinary mathematics of human sciences, and interdisciplinary of natural sciences. In addition, there are questions of specific knowledge according to the course option: biological and health, exact and technological and humanities and art.
