However, the municipality of Cariacica has a workload of 25 hours per week, and will continue as instructed for these professionals. Thus, for those who work 25 hours a week, the minimum wage will be R$ 2,762.00.

With 5,000 professionals in the municipality, SEME reported that the teachers' salary adjustment had already been announced and will be valid from May of this year. The increase will place the city hall of Vila Velha, in Greater Vitória, as the city that offers the best salary for teachers.

Teachers who complement their income with extensions, reaching 40 hours a week, will receive a salary of R$ 4,511.54, above what was readjusted by the MEC.
