Meet the “Provão Paulista”!
The novelty will not take long, as it will be valid for the 2024 school year. This initiative was made official last Monday, the 10th, by Governor Tarcísio de Freitas, thus establishing a new opportunity to enter the prestigious public institutions of higher education in São Paulo.
The main goal is to provide students from the state network with an additional alternative to enroll in public universities in São Paulo.
The Secretary of Education emphasized that this initiative goes beyond offering access to higher education, providing, in fact, access to the most prominent university institutions in the country.
During a ceremony held at Palácio dos Bandeirantes, Governor Tarcísio de Freitas expressed his motivation in relation to the mission of making people's dreams come true.
He pointed out that young people have the desire to enter university as a step towards achieving professional success, insertion in the job market and the conquest of quality jobs and autonomy.
The governor announced his desire to make this dream even more possible, encouraging students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
As of next November, the Department of Education will start applying the new assessment systematically. The test will consist of multiple choice questions and an essay. This assessment will allow direct access to vacancies at public universities and Fatecs in São Paulo, enabling the start of courses as early as 2024.
