Learn how to keep cats out of your garden using natural repellents

Cats, in general, love to mess around in the earth, as they like to dig, hide buried objects and even nibble or pull out some plants from the vases. However, when we have a garden or plants spread around the house, this can be a problem if we cannot keep the cats out of the garden.

After all, nobody likes to have a house full of dirt from their paws or lose a special plant because the cat decided to dig in its pot or ate it. Furthermore, removing this behavior from the pet is very difficult and in most cases we are unsuccessful.

Vinegar

This product has a very characteristic and strong odor even for us humans, so it works very well when it comes to keeping your feline gardener away from the greens. To use it you will need:

• Sprayer;
• Water;
• Vinegar;
• Liquid soap.

The preparation is very simple, just mix all the liquids in equal parts, that is, if you put 50mL of water you will also add 50mL of vinegar and 50mL of any liquid soap.

Then shake the container well with the mixture and spray it in the environments where your plants are, so the cats won't get close.

Coffee

This is another product that cats can't stand the smell of, so it's great to use in gardens. It generates a little dirt, but for that it is enough to rub the powder on objects, such as vases.

It is worth mentioning that pure coffee powder must be used, otherwise it can attract many cockroaches to your corner.

Finally, lemon and orange peels can be used as natural repellents for cats and also other insects that attack plants. Just leave these shells on top of the earth or around the vases.
