How to plant watercress in my vegetable garden?

The steps to growing watercress are relatively simple, so it will only require attention to execute them.

These are the steps:

  1. In a large pot with holes for drainage and at least 15.2cm deep, add a layer of geotextile fabric, as this way the substrate will not leak during watering;
  2. Also add a drainage tray, which will be useful to conserve water from irrigation;
  3. The substrate must be soilless and have moss or vermiculite and a pH of 6.5 to 7.5;
  4. Add the substrate to the pot, making sure to leave a space of 5cm below the rim of the container;
  5. Now, water well and then open a 0.6 cm hole in the substrate and place the seed. If using more than one seed, leave a space of 10 cm between each one;
  6. Afterwards, leave the vase in a place with indirect sunlight, so your little plants will not burn.

Okay, now that the planting has been done, you should pay attention to the care that the plant requires.
