In the images, we see a boa constrictor, probably hungry, trying to pounce on the cats. The mother cat is fast and dodges the reptile's attacks. But it's not just that dance. She also counterattacks with her clever little paw.

Cats and snakes don't get along well
It may seem obvious, but it is always good to reinforce that cats and snakes don't get along well together. Pardon the pun, the cat's jump in this situation isn't even the snake's strike, it's the felines' counterattack, do you believe it?
Cats are fast and ferocious when faced with enemies and are not overly intimidated by animals larger than themselves. In situations like this, they use their claws, bites and agility.
Also, cats can kill and eat snakes. You didn't expect this one, did you?
If they manage to dominate the reptile, they can feed on it. If it's a bigger snake, it might have an advantage, but that's not a guarantee.
Snakes are also excellent hunters. Venomous ones can kill the feline in a matter of seconds. However, with the right timing, a constrictor – such as the boa constrictor in the video, and also the anaconda– can make an accurate lunge and grab the cat in the blink of an eye.
If you have both animals as a pet, make sure they are well away from each other. Leaving them together is a recipe for disaster!
