O McDonalds from Australia announced the arrival of a new sandwich. The ad image showed the McFry, the brand's hamburger with the composition of fries, without the need to ask for the addition of the most beloved potatoes in the world. However, the novelty was released on April Fools' Day.
What happens on April 1st, besides small and big lies? That's not a difficult question to answer, as we all know what to expect on April Fools' Day. McDonald's managed to arouse the fury of its consumers with this year's prank, leaving customers outraged by such a lie.

McDonald's makes April Fools joke, customers get frustrated
The McFry was announced and, of course, all the high standards of the company were shown in a beautiful photo of the sandwich with french fries filling the order. The idea came from observing that many customers buy the hamburger and the potato, then, with their own hands, add the potato to the sandwich.
“The ultimate Mach-hack is now made to order, while we've taken the classic Quarter Pounder [a sandwich from the menu] and stacked it with Australia's favorite crisps," said the product's publicity in the Instagram.
The subject became so real that McDonald's had the trouble to establish a partnership with a digital influencer Melbourne venue known as Ange Eats to be filmed eating the “new” sandwich on the menu. In the advertisement, it stated that McFry was entering the menu and could be consumed.
When they realized it was an April Fools joke, some customers loved it and others were disappointed by the prank. There were reports of customers who begged McDonald's to create McFry to make up for the inconvenience they caused.
Next year, learn: everything said on April 1 needs to be questioned, even if it's McDonald's idea!
