Check out the characteristics of an individual who is a 'dark empath'
Still talking about personality traits, these people carry the “dark triad”.
- Narcissism: someone who deals with inflated ego all the time;
- Psychopathy: people with mental disorders and who do not have the aptitude to control their behavior;
- Machiavellianism: individuals who tend not to speak the truth, as well as being vindictive and abusive.
Dark empaths can often act in ways that people don't realize their behaviors are compromising. Typically, they can be sympathetic at times, but very insensitive at others. Below we list some behaviors that characterize them.
- They use their attractions to manipulate;
- Intimidate people for their personal satisfaction;
- They blame everyone for what happens around them;
- They are super malicious people.
In such cases, there are ways to deal with people of this type. Establishing limits is a good start, as this way they become aware that they are not the owners of reason. For now, putting an end to the relationship is a great solution, but if that is not possible, the best thing to do is refer them to a mental health professional so they can understand the best way to behave and then start to have a social life more efficient.
Care must be taken, as dark empaths always offer help with ulterior motives in mind. It is worth remembering that this is a personality disorder.
