Locate your cell phone through your Google account

The locator is only available on Google in English, so you need to change your search settings if your language is Portuguese.

You need to change your browser language for this to work.

1. Log into your Google account and click on “settings", in the lower right corner of the page and choose the option "Search Settings“.
2. On the page that opens, click on “Languages“, in the menu on the left. Check the option "English” and click on “To save“.
3. Then go back to the browser's home page and type in the search engine "find my phone”. The page will show a Google Maps window with the location of your smartphone.
4. On the first access, the site will ask for an authorization so that the “Android Device Manager” use your location data. Just click onallow“.
5. You are directed to the “Android Device Manager” by clicking on the map and this will display your device in an enlarged size.
6. On the page there is also a box with 3 more options: “Touch“, “Block" It is "To switch off“.
7. Finally, if your smartphone has been stolen, you can also lock it and reset your password and erase your data remotely by clicking on the options “Block" It is "To switch off“, respectively.
